Extruders, important plastic machinery, can be used to produce and manufacture most plastic products through extrusion molding.
In extrusion molding machine, host speed regulation and stability directly affect the work efficiency and production quality of the machine, the frequency converter in the core function of healthcare.
1.Common requirements
Can perform static self-learning of parameters
Using open-loop control without an encoder
The motor can output twice the torque at frequencies below 3 Hz.
No out-of-sync situation occurs during operation.
Can read the data of the frequency converter, and can display the current, speed and voltage waveforms.
2.Application advantages of FD100 frequency converter
Energy-saving and efficient: The frequency converter uses constant torque output. Compared to other speed control methods, it is more energy-efficient, especially in low-speed operation where the effect is more pronounced.
Precise control: The frequency converter has functions such as automatic overcurrent and overvoltage detection, which can provide maximum protection for the equipment. At the same time, it offers full-frequency high-torque output, quick response, excellent load adaptability, ensuring the stable operation and efficient production of the equipment.
Improve quality: The frequency converter can suppress sudden current fluctuations and automatically adjust the screw rotation speed, effectively avoiding quality issues such as broken wires and air bubbles in the finished products.
Protection equipment: The soft start function of the frequency converter enables the starting current to begin at 0, limiting it to the current-limiting level set by the frequency converter during acceleration, thereby reducing the impact on the power grid and the requirements for the power grid capacity, and extending the service life of the equipment.
3.Parameter setting
After the main circuit and control circuit are wired, power on and set the parameters of the frequency converter. Set the control mode to sensorless vector control mode, the operation command to keyboard setting, the operation frequency to be set as required, the acceleration and deceleration time to 5 seconds, and the motor type to synchronous motor. Input the motor parameter group according to the motor nameplate parameters, and the back electromotive force of the motor is estimated. The estimation formula is shown in Note 1. The motor parameter self-learning is set to static self-learning.
4.Test result
After the self-learning process is completed, start the frequency converter and follow the following steps for debugging:
At a frequency of 15 Hz, with a 100% load, the start, stop, and addition/subtraction operations are smooth, the current waveform is normal, the power factor is 0.98, and the output current of the frequency converter is over 40 amperes.
At a frequency of 10 Hz, with a 150% load, the output current of the frequency converter is over 70 amperes, and the current waveform is normal.
At a frequency of 7.5 Hz, with a 200% load, the output current of the frequency converter is 90 to 100 amperes, and the current waveform is normal.
Increase the motor's operating speed to the maximum of 100 r/min to test the motor's limit characteristics. The current waveform is normal.
Increase the motor load to 1.7 times and 2 times respectively, and start and stop at frequencies below 3 Hz. The output current waveforms of the frequency converter are all normal.
Through the above on-site debugging, it fully meets the requirements of the plasticizer machine for the motor's output characteristics.
After being equipped with a frequency converter, the extrusion machine significantly improves production efficiency, optimizes energy utilization, enhances system stability, reduces maintenance costs and improves product quality. The advantages are obvious.
